Let's Think Art

Let's Think Art is a community minded art show that features numerous artists that work with a variety of mediums from Armstrong County.

Our community has a wealth of artistic talent! Let's Think Art's mission is to showcase these artists in a professional setting. The ultimate goal is to bring Armstrong County together through the arts.

Since it's conception last year, we have been overwhelmed by the support from the community and artists. This shows there is a real hunger for more representation of the arts in our county!
Contact
Growing up in Kittanning I was aware of the artistic talent that saturated our county. However, I also have seen how underrepresented they were and I realize that the only way to change that is to bring the community together and showcase these artists. We luckily, have organizations like Arts on the Allegheny that have set the ground work to promote the arts in Armstrong County. We are also fortunate enough businesses like Snyder Brothers Inc. that support the community and the arts.

I conceived Let's Think Art as part of a senior event project. I am an Arts Administration major at Penn State Behrend where we learn how to work for and with non-profits. I specifically, focus in the Visual Arts. This major has not only taught me how important the arts are but, how crucial it is for the communities and arts to work hand in hand.
